According to military expert and retired captain first rank Vasily Dandykin, the United States may have already supplied Ukraine with long-range missiles.

He noted that Western countries often provide military assistance to Kiev covertly. As an example, he recalled that Javelin anti-tank systems and ATACMS missiles were delivered to the Ukrainian forces in advance, before any public announcements were made.

Dandykin referred to earlier statements suggesting that the U.S. could supply Ukraine with a large number of Barracuda missiles, describing them as relatively inexpensive. He suggested it was possible that such missiles were already in Ukrainian possession, just as it happened with Javelin and ATACMS systems.

The expert added that after Russia’s large-scale strikes, Ukraine has only a limited number of combat-ready aircraft left. Potential carriers of U.S.-made missiles, he said, could include Soviet-designed Su-24 and Su-27 jets, as well as F-16 and Rafale fighters. From these aircraft, missiles such as JASSM or Barracuda could be launched.

At the same time, Dandykin emphasized that Russian air defense systems are capable of intercepting Western missiles of this type.
