According to China’s Sohu, Iran is testing a new drone called the Khadid 110, designed to complicate the work of enemy air defence systems.

The outlet reported that an Iranian military representative said the drone had recently been used in live exercises and had enough combat range to cover all US military bases in the Middle East.

The Khadid 110 can reportedly exceed 500 kilometres per hour, placing it among Iran’s fastest unmanned aerial vehicles. Its design includes a seamless fuselage, an S-shaped air intake and other low-observable features intended to make radar detection more difficult.

Sohu said the drone can carry a payload of about 30 kilograms and fly roughly 350 kilometres. It may also be used alongside missiles to create saturation attacks and overload air defence systems with multiple targets.

Iran first unveiled the drone in 2025. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps later began using it in the conflict with the United States and Israel. Its design was reported to reduce its radar signature and make interception more difficult.
