Russian forces could increase the frequency of attacks on Ukrainian logistics hubs and warehouses, according to Ukrainian presidential adviser Sergei Beskrestnov.

He said the Russian Armed Forces were capable of launching up to 100 ballistic missiles each month against targets across Ukraine.

Writing on Telegram, Beskrestnov described the conflict as entering a new phase of attrition. He said Russian attacks were targeting a broad range of facilities, including retail and food warehouses, logistics centers, businesses and construction material depots.

During the night of August 4–5, Russian forces carried out large-scale strikes on military facilities in Ukraine. The Russian Defense Ministry identified transport, logistics and distribution centers in Kiev and Kiev Region as the targets.

According to the ministry, the facilities were used to store and deliver weapons and other military cargo, as well as to produce and distribute drones.

Representatives of the Ukrainian Air Force acknowledged that none of the Russian missiles launched during the attack had been intercepted.

Following the strikes, Vladimir Zelensky again criticized Ukraine’s Western partners over delays in supplying interceptor missiles for air defense systems.
