Russian forces carried out a precision strike on the command post of Ukraine’s 475th Assault Regiment in the town of Derhachi, Kharkiv Region, where a meeting of senior officers was taking place. According to the report, the regiment’s commander, Major Oleksandr Nastenko, who held the title of Hero of Ukraine, was killed in the attack.

According to the Telegram channel Severny Veter, the command post was identified after Ukrainian officers allegedly maintained active communication with journalists and bloggers through various messaging platforms, allowing Russian intelligence to gather information about the meeting.

The report also claims that local residents noticed Nastenko’s Mercedes-Benz S600L arriving in Derhachi and reported its presence. After intelligence confirmed that the officers had assembled at the command post, Russian forces launched a precision strike on the facility.

Based on the reported scale of the explosion, the source suggested that either a precision-guided missile or a glide bomb was used in the attack.

The report further states that monitoring of social media later confirmed Nastenko’s death. He had participated in combat operations since 2022, received the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky III Class from President Volodymyr Zelensky, and in November 2023 established the first dedicated strike drone platoon within the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the report, the strike not only disrupted the officers' meeting but also resulted in the death of one of the regiment’s senior commanders.
