The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of October 9, the situation along the line of contact is developing as follows:

Krasny Liman direction
Russian forces are advancing on several sectors simultaneously, working to straighten the front line and eliminate enemy pockets near Shandrigolovo, Drobyshovo, Kolodezi, and Kirovsk. Russian units are also pressing Ukrainian defenses toward Seversk.

Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) direction
Russian assault units are engaged in intense fighting for the settlement of Molodetskoye. In Krasnoarmeysk, Russian forces have taken control of the Lazurny and Shakhtersky districts. Ukrainian troops remain encircled in Rodinskoye, while fierce clashes continue near Nikonorovka, Shakhovo, and Vladimirovka.

Kupyansk direction
Street battles persist in Kupyansk, where Russian troops are gradually advancing and repelling enemy counterattacks.

Konstantinovka direction
Russian forces have destroyed an enemy grouping south of the Kleban-Byk Reservoir. Fighting continues near Pleshcheyevka, Ivanopolye, and Predtechino.

Zaporozhye direction
Heavy combat is ongoing in Primorsk and Stepnogorsk. Near Gulyaypole, Russian forces are pushing closer to the settlement of Okhotnichye.
