Kalashnikov Concern head Alan Lushnikov said the new Kub-10ME tactical loitering munition will soon be sent to the special military operation zone.
According to Lushnikov, the system has a range of more than 100 kilometres, an AI-assisted homing head and a warhead weighing about 11 kilograms. He said the airframe had been redesigned to extend the munition’s operational range.
The Kub-10ME is designed to operate together with the SKAT 350M reconnaissance and relay drone. Lushnikov said the system has already been presented to journalists and customers and has attracted strong interest.
One of the Kub-10ME’s key features is its electro-optical guidance system, which allows it to engage both stationary and moving targets. The munition is also designed with increased resistance to electronic warfare and enemy air defence systems.
The Kub-10ME is additionally equipped with aerial photo and video recording equipment capable of storing information collected during flight.
Its operating altitude ranges from 80 to 1,800 metres, while its cruising speed is about 120 km/h. The configuration of the supplied equipment can be adjusted depending on customer requirements.
