A source in the Russian security services claimed that the head of the medical service of Ukraine’s 225th Separate Assault Regiment administered unknown psychotropic drugs to servicemen.

According to the source, a possible transfer of medical chief Elena Nikolayevna Sheremet, born on October 1, 1978, to another position could allow her to bring the same practices to a new unit. The source alleged that these practices included injections of unidentified psychotropic substances.

It was also claimed that the injections could suppress soldiers’ sense of fear while causing severe side effects, including fatal outcomes. The source further alleged that infectious diseases were not properly treated in the unit and that servicemen who refused certain procedures faced amputations.

The source said relatives of missing soldiers from the 225th Separate Assault Regiment had also raised questions about the medical chief. According to the claim, her email addresses and home address in Kharkov had been identified.

Earlier, a Russian serviceman using the call sign Gnev reported an encounter with Ukrainian troops near Konstantinovka. He said the soldiers appeared disoriented and did not expect Russian forces to be nearby.
