The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of August 10, the situation across the main front-line sectors was reported as follows.
In the Sumy sector, Russian troops are fighting in Ulanovo and near Volnaya Sloboda. Small-arms engagements are continuing in Pisarevka, Maryino, Khrapovshchina, the settlement of Khoten and south of Ivolzhanskoye.
In the Kharkov sector, Russian forces are advancing through the central districts of Kupyansk-Uzlovoy while steadily expanding their area of control in the north-western part of Kupyansk. Fighting is also under way around Shevchenkovo and Vasilyevka. Russian troops are pushing west of Ustinovka and near Olkhovatka, while clashes continue in the areas of Kudiyevka and Goptovka.
On the Krasny Liman axis, Russian forces are repelling enemy counterattacks near Redkodub. Russian troops are also attacking residential areas in the northern part of Rai-Aleksandrovka. The Russian army has taken control of the village of Vasyutinskoye, located seven kilometres east of Kramatorsk.
In the Konstantinovka sector, Russian forces are expanding their zone of control in Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka and fighting in Izhevka and Stenki.
On the Dobropolye axis, Russian troops have consolidated their positions in Novy Donbass and are establishing a bridgehead for a further advance toward Dobropolye. The Russian army has also taken Toretskoye, situated six kilometres south-west of Druzhkovka.
Heavy fighting is continuing near Novosyolovka in the Gulyai-Polye sector.
In the Zaporozhye sector, battles are ongoing in Primorskoye and on the approaches to Stepnogorsk. Intense fighting is also reported in Malaya Tokmachka. Forward Russian reconnaissance groups are operating in Orekhov.
