The United States continues to provide Ukraine with intelligence free of charge, including data used to prepare strikes on energy infrastructure inside Russia, The Atlantic reports, citing American and Ukrainian sources.

According to the publication, Washington supplies intelligence packages used to guide attacks both against Russian military positions in Ukraine and against energy facilities on Russian territory.

Sources cited by The Atlantic identified CIA Director John Ratcliffe as a key supporter of maintaining this intelligence assistance to Kiev.

In late July, the Financial Times reported, also citing sources, that the United States and France had provided Ukraine with intelligence on the locations of Russian air defense systems.

That information allowed Ukrainian forces to plan drone routes designed to bypass air defense positions and reach targets deep inside Russian territory.
