The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that Russian forces have established full control over Rybalskoye in the Zaporozhye Region. According to the ministry’s official battlefield report, the settlement came under Russian control as a result of the ongoing offensive by Russian units in this sector of the front.

After the fighting ended, Russian troops cleared the area and consolidated their positions along the newly captured lines. Despite its relatively small size, Rybalskoye has tactical significance, and control of the village strengthens the position of Russian forces in this part of the Zaporozhye Region.

Taking the settlement also creates additional opportunities for further advances deeper into Ukrainian defensive positions. According to the ministry, Russian units operated in a coordinated and organized manner with artillery and air support.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not disclose details of the fighting for Rybalskoye. In particular, the published report provided no information about personnel losses or Ukrainian military equipment destroyed during the operation.

Russian offensive operations in the Zaporozhye Region are continuing. The Defense Ministry said its units are carrying out their assigned missions in accordance with command plans and that the situation in their area of responsibility remains under control.
