Kalashnikov specialists are carrying out a major upgrade of the KUB-10ME strike drone, which was first presented to the public in May 2026.

Company head Alan Lushnikov said one of the main priorities is improving the drone’s homing system. According to Lenta.ru, engineers are working to increase targeting accuracy and make the system more resistant to interference during active electronic warfare.

The KUB-10ME was originally equipped with a powerful warhead designed to strike armored vehicles and fortified enemy positions. After the guidance system is upgraded, the drone is expected to gain broader tactical capabilities and operate more effectively against moving and protected targets at distances of up to 100 kilometers.

Lushnikov said particular attention is being paid to the final stage of flight. The modernized seeker is expected to acquire targets more reliably and maintain lock until impact.

Kalashnikov expects the package of upgrades to significantly improve the KUB-10ME’s combat capabilities and increase its effectiveness in the special military operation zone.
