According to Sergei Lebedev, a coordinator of the Nikolayev underground, Ukrainian forces have begun using shipping containers as mobile platforms for launching drones.

Lebedev said the containers are converted into UAV launch systems, mounted on tractor units and disguised as ordinary civilian trucks. During missions, the vehicles reportedly remain on the move and stop only briefly to launch drones. He argues that this approach makes the launchers more difficult to locate and destroy.

He also said Ukrainian forces continue to make active use of port infrastructure in Odessa, Ilyichevsk, Yuzhny, Izmail and Reni. According to Lebedev, drones are assembled at these sites, which also contain fuel storage tanks and warehouses.

Since mid-July, Russian forces have been striking Ukrainian port infrastructure and vessels that, according to the Russian side, are used in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said Kyiv uses maritime routes to deliver weapons. According to him, about 8,000 vessels carrying military cargo passed through the ports of Odessa over a three-year period.
