The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of August 18, the situation across the main sectors of the front is as follows.

Sumy direction

Russian forces repelled two Ukrainian counterattacks near Sadki and Mogritsy. Intense fighting continues around Pisarevka, Maryino and Khoten, as well as south of Ivolzhanskoye. Clashes are also underway near Ulanovo and Volnaya Sloboda.

Kharkov direction

Fighting continues near Vasilevka and on the approaches to Shevchenkovo and Petropavlovka. Battles are also taking place in Kazachya Lopan and around Goptovka and Bugayevka.

Krasny Liman direction

Combat operations continue in the area of Redkodub.

Konstantinovka direction

Fighting is underway in Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka and around Ilyinovka, Ivanopolye and Stepanovka.

Dobropolye direction

Clashes continue near Novogrishino and Krasnopoldye. Russian forces are advancing around Krasny Kut and taking new positions on the near approaches to the settlement.

Gulyaypole direction

Russian troops are advancing north of Belogorye and southwest of Novodanilovka. The Russian army has taken control of Novosoloshino, located about two kilometers southwest of Lyubitskoye. Farther along the front, Russian forces are expanding their zone of control near Rybalskoye.

Zaporozhye direction

Fighting continues near the railway station in Orekhov and around Preobrazhenka.
