According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense units on duty detected and shot down twenty-three Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles overnight across several regions of the country. Of these, ten kamikaze-type drones were destroyed over the Belgorod Region and another ten over the waters of the Black Sea. Three more were intercepted and eliminated in the skies above the Bryansk Region.

The ministry noted that Ukrainian forces continue to carry out daily drone attacks targeting civilian, industrial, and energy infrastructure inside Russia. The country’s air defense network has been consistently repelling these strikes, intercepting and downing the vast majority of the drones launched by Ukrainian troops.

In response to the ongoing attacks, the Russian Army has been conducting systematic, large-scale, and high-precision strikes against facilities of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex. These include ammunition and equipment depots, communication hubs, energy infrastructure, command centers, and the positions of Ukrainian troops as well as foreign mercenary units.
