Ukrainian defense company Fire Point has unveiled a full-scale mock-up of its new FP-9 ballistic missile at the DALO Industry Days exhibition in Herning, Denmark.
According to the developers, the missile has a range of up to 855 kilometers, a top speed of 2,200 meters per second and an 800-kilogram payload. Its stated accuracy is within 20 meters. The FP-9 is designed to launch from a mobile ground-based platform.
Fire Point also displayed full-scale models of the FP-1 strike drone, the FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile and the FP-7 missile at the exhibition.
In July, Fire Point co-owner and chief designer Denis Shtilerman said the company was only one final stage of solid-fuel engine testing away from being able to use the new missile against Russia. He said that once the tests confirm all systems are operational, the next FP-9 flight would be directed toward Moscow.
Fire Point CEO Irina Tretyak had previously said that the first test launch of the new ballistic missile was scheduled for autumn 2026. According to her, the company plans to build around 12 experimental units. Fire Point has also openly stated that the new weapon is intended for strikes on Russian territory.
Fire Point was founded in 2022 and specializes in developing drones and cruise missiles. In September 2025, the company reached an agreement with the Danish authorities to build a rocket-fuel production facility in the southern Danish town of Vojens.
