Russian forces continue their military operation in Ukraine. As of August 20, fighting is developing across several sectors of the front.

Sumy direction

Russian troops are advancing along the Pokrovka-Novodmitrovka line. Fighting continues near Mogritsa and south of Ivolzhanskoye. Ukrainian forces launched counterattacks in the areas of Sadki and Ternovaya.

Kharkov direction

Russian units are pushing forward near Radkovka. Clashes are continuing around Kupyansk-Uzlovoy, Kurilovka and Novoosinovo. Russian forces are also attacking in Vasilevka and Chernoye, while fighting remains active near Bely Kolodez. Battles are also continuing around Kazachya Lopan and Goptovka.

Krasny Liman direction

Fighting is ongoing in the area of Redkodub.

Konstantinovka direction

Russian troops are expanding the territory under their control near Osykovo.

Dobropolye direction

The Russian army has taken the village of Vodyanskoye, located about one kilometer southeast of Krasnopodolye. Russian forces are also advancing toward Zolotoy Kolodez and Rubezhnoye, as well as from Krasny Kut in the direction of Novonikolayevka.

Gulyaypole direction

Russian troops are moving west of Charivnoye. Clashes continue to the west of Novoselovka.

Zaporozhye direction

Fighting is underway near Primorskoye. Russian forces have made tactical gains in Malaya Tokmachka and are assaulting built-up areas of Orekhov.
