Ukrainian drone units left behind more than 100 FPV and reconnaissance UAVs during the fighting for Krasnopodolye, and Russian forces are now putting the equipment to use.

A deputy commander of an assault battalion from the 110th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade of the 51st Army of Russia’s Center group of forces, call sign Slon, told TASS that the haul included primarily FPV drones, as well as Mavic-3 and newer Mavic-4 reconnaissance UAVs.

According to his estimate, the number of abandoned FPV drones alone exceeded 100. The recovered equipment is now being used both for reconnaissance and for strikes against Ukrainian Armed Forces units.

Russian troops also destroyed up to 20 heavy Ukrainian drones during the battle for Krasnopodolye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, including Vampire UAVs and hexacopters, along with dozens of FPV drones.

Slon said snipers had shot down roughly 10 to 13 Vampire drones and about six Yoga hexacopters of the Baba Yaga type during the latest operation. He added that FPV drones were being destroyed on a daily basis, with the total running into the dozens.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that units of the Center group of forces had liberated Krasnopodolye.
