The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of August 21, the situation on the front lines is as follows:

Dobropillia Direction

The village of Matiasheve has been taken. Russian forces continue advancing toward Dobropillia and Novohryshyne, while heavy fighting is underway near the eastern outskirts of the city.

Kostiantynivka Direction

The Russian Defense Ministry has announced the capture of Mykolaipillia. Russian units are working to straighten the front line west of Kostiantynivka.

Zaporizhzhia Direction

Russian forces continue advancing in Orikhiv. Positional fighting continues on the eastern flank. In Novosoloshyne, Russian troops are repelling Ukrainian counterattacks.

Siversk Direction

Russian units are expanding their zone of control near Pershomarivka and advancing in Starodubivka.

Dnipro Direction

Russian drones and artillery are striking Ukrainian military equipment and positions in the areas of Dobropasove, Kolomiitsi and Velykomykhailivka.
