Rosoboronexport, part of Rostec, is bringing the new Garpiya-A1 (E) loitering munition to the international market. The export version of the unmanned system has a stated range of up to 1,000 kilometers, according to company CEO Alexander Mikheev.

The system was developed and is manufactured by the Almaz-Antey Aerospace Defense Concern. Mikheev said no other loitering munition currently offered on the global market has a declared range of up to 1,000 kilometers.

Garpiya-A1 (E) is designed to strike stationary targets whose coordinates are entered in advance. The aircraft can carry a warhead weighing more than 50 kilograms, while its circular error probable does not exceed four meters.

The export model has already drawn interest from potential foreign customers. Rosoboronexport has presented the system to several international partners and says attention to the new weapon is being driven both by its specifications and the results of its actual combat use.

The company is prepared to discuss not only deliveries of Garpiya-A1 (E), but also the possibility of establishing production in countries friendly to Russia.

The system includes the long-range BLA-D unmanned aircraft. Built around a flying-wing configuration, it uses a pusher propeller and a gasoline-powered cruise engine.

The munition can operate at altitudes ranging from 50 to 2,500 meters. Its maximum speed is at least 170 kilometers per hour, while its declared range is no less than 1,000 kilometers. The aircraft can remain airborne for at least six hours and follows its flight path automatically.

Garpiya-A1 (E) has a fuselage length of 3.4 meters and a wingspan of three meters. Its takeoff weight is 250 kilograms.
