Russian air defense forces destroyed 457 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

The large-scale attack targeted multiple Russian regions as well as areas over the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. According to the ministry, all detected aerial targets were intercepted and destroyed by air defense units on duty.

The drones were neutralized over the Rostov, Kaluga, Belgorod, Saratov, Tula, Volgograd, Kursk, Kirov, Bryansk, Tambov, Voronezh, Ulyanovsk, Oryol and Samara regions.

Russian air defenses also destroyed Ukrainian UAVs over Krasnodar Krai and Crimea, as well as over the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

In total, Russian air defenses repelled an overnight attack involving 457 unmanned aerial vehicles across a wide area of the country and the adjacent maritime zones.
