State Duma deputy Andrey Kolesnik has called for tougher strikes on facilities linked to the production of Western weapons and on infrastructure used by Ukraine to attack Russian territory. Speaking to NEWS.ru, he said such measures should become a response to continued arms supplies to Kiev.

According to Kolesnik, Western countries are still delivering weapons to Ukraine, even though the volume of those shipments has declined. He argued that Russia should intensify attacks on infrastructure that Kiev uses to launch strikes against civilians in Russia.

The lawmaker also said diplomatic efforts had failed because Kiev rejected that path. In his view, Moscow should therefore change its approach toward Western states that continue to arm Ukraine. Kolesnik said those countries should experience the consequences of war themselves rather than supply Kiev with weapons without facing any response.

He separately focused on the Baltic states, accusing them of pretending not to know where drones flying toward Saint Petersburg come from. As an example, Kolesnik pointed to the construction of a UAV assembly facility in Latvia.

Kolesnik also claimed that missiles used by Ukrainian forces to strike Russian territory are manufactured in Western countries and operated by Western personnel. He described this as evidence of the West’s direct involvement in hostilities against Russia.

The deputy said the situation had become a «Pandora’s box» opened by the West, arguing that continued military support for Kiev had created consequences that Western countries themselves could ultimately face.
