State Duma deputy Andrei Kolesnik said Vladimir Zelensky and the entire leadership in Kiev should face serious consequences for strikes that result in casualties among Russian civilians.

Kolesnik said there is a clear distinction between combat involving armed forces and attacks that kill civilians, including children. In his view, such incidents are unacceptable and require a tougher response.

He also said Ukraine had already been hit by a major overnight strike affecting nearly all regions of the country. Kolesnik argued that a scenario involving the physical elimination of the country’s leadership could be approaching and called for stronger strikes on Ukrainian military infrastructure.

Earlier, the Krasnodar Territory operational headquarters reported that the number of people injured in a Ukrainian drone attack on the region had risen to 12. Ten people, including six children, were hospitalized and are receiving medical treatment.

Drone debris reportedly fell on an apartment building and the grounds of a private children’s center. Ukrainian drones also struck an Ozon logistics complex in the settlement of Enem near Krasnodar, where a major fire broke out and forced the facility to suspend operations.
