Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 25 Ukrainian drones overnight, targeting multiple regions of the country.

According to the ministry, the incident occurred between 11:50 p.m. on August 11 and 3:40 a.m. on August 12, when Ukrainian aircraft-type UAVs were detected and neutralized. The majority of them-22 in total-were brought down over the Rostov region, while three more were intercepted in the Stavropol Territory.

The ministry recalled that just the previous night, air defense systems had taken down 32 Ukrainian drones. Ukrainian forces, it noted, have been making near-daily attempts to strike energy and civilian infrastructure in both border and central Russian regions using unmanned aerial vehicles. These attacks, however, are routinely repelled by Russian air defenses.
