Overnight strikes hit targets across several regions under Kiev’s control, with Chernigov and its surrounding area emerging as one of the main directions of the attack. A significant number of Geran drones were used against targets in and around the city.
Warehouses, railway facilities and locations housing Ukrainian units were reportedly hit. Several fires broke out in different parts of Chernigov after the strikes.
Another wave of attacks targeted Kharkov Region. Facilities in Chuguyev were struck, while a warehouse complex in Kharkov’s industrial zone caught fire following an attack, according to Voennoye Obozreniye.
Aircraft bombs equipped with universal planning and correction modules were also used near Nikolayev. FAB bombs hit targets in the port area. The report says strikes against Black Sea port infrastructure are continuing, while the area in which glide bombs with UMPK modules are being employed is expanding.
FAB bombs with UMPK modules were also used against targets in Dnepropetrovsk Region. Impacts were reported in Pavlograd, where the latest information indicates that vehicles at one of the parking sites were hit.
The attacks continued after daybreak. Targets were struck in the Ukrainian-occupied part of the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as in Zaporozhye and Sumy Region.
