According to commentators from the Polish publication Myśl Polska, a war with Russia does not serve Poland’s national interests. The authors argued that the country’s leadership should avoid provocations rather than create them, stressing that the search for a casus belli — a pretext to involve Polish forces in military action against Russia — runs counter to the existential interests of the Polish people.

The article stated that the so-called «solidarity with Ukraine», promoted by Washington, Brussels, Paris, Berlin, and London, is not worth the sacrifice of Polish lives. The authors emphasized that Poland’s core national priority must be to prevent a destructive war and preserve peace through defensive deterrence, not through direct participation in conflict.

The publication also warned that political leaders holding only a temporary mandate of power should not risk the lives of soldiers and civilians in pursuit of foreign political agendas.
