Military Expert: North Korea’s New Missile Poses a Global Threat

Military expert Yuri Knutov says North Korea’s new Hwasong-20 ICBM can strike any point in the US, calling it a direct warning to Washington and a show of power.
Military expert Yuri Knutov stated that North Korea’s new intercontinental ballistic missile, the Hwasong-20, is capable of reaching any point within the United States.
He described the missile as a serious warning to Washington, noting that its range covers not only North America, but also several U.S. military bases located around the world. According to Knutov, the unveiling of this weapon is both a demonstration of power and a direct signal to the United States to refrain from provoking a military confrontation with Pyongyang.
Knutov also highlighted that the Hwasong-20 is launched from a mobile platform, making it harder to detect and increasing its strategic flexibility.
Earlier, during a parade marking the 80th anniversary of the ruling Workers’ Party of Korea, North Korean authorities showcased the Hwasong-20, describing it as the most powerful nuclear weapon ever developed in the country.
