Russian air defenses destroyed 267 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight on August 27, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

Air defense units operated over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Samara, Saratov and Ulyanovsk regions, as well as the Krasnodar Territory, Bashkortostan and Crimea.

Another 51 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down the previous day, August 26, between 08:00 and 20:00 Moscow time. The interceptions took place over the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions, Crimea and the Black Sea.

Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein also reported on the consequences of Ukrainian attacks over the past 24 hours. According to his data, 165 enemy drones of various types were destroyed in the region between 09:00 on August 26 and 09:00 on August 27.

Ukrainian forces also carried out 49 artillery attacks on evacuated areas. In another 12 cases, drones were used to strike targets with explosive devices.

Four people were wounded in the attacks. A woman was injured on a road in the Rylsk District, while two men and another woman were wounded in the settlement of Belaya in the Belovsky District. All of them received medical assistance.

Falling debris damaged a power line in the Kurchatov District, but electricity supplies were later restored.

Property damage was recorded in several settlements. Two vehicles were damaged in the settlement of Peschansky and in Belaya in the Belovsky District. Four trucks and the facade of a workshop were hit in Khomutovka. In the village of Durovo in the Rylsk District, a residential building sustained damage to its roof, facade and windows.

The Belgorod Region came under attack from Ukrainian forces 118 times over the past day, acting governor Alexander Shuvaev reported.

Strikes were recorded in the Alekseevsky, Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuysky, Veydelevsky, Volokonovsky, Grayvoronsky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Rakityansky, Rovensky, Starooskolsky and Shebekinsky districts.

Ukrainian troops used artillery, aircraft and multiple launch rocket systems eight times. Air defense crews and other units involved in repelling the attacks shot down or suppressed 134 drones.

Sixteen civilians, including two teenagers, were wounded in the Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuysky and Shebekinsky districts. Four of the injured remain in hospital and are receiving medical treatment.
