Russian specialists have developed a new range of equipment for mobile fire teams tasked with protecting industrial facilities, warehouses and other critical infrastructure from fixed-wing drones. The lineup includes vehicle-mounted turrets, anti-aircraft tripods and additional mounting systems for machine guns, according to manufacturer Zavoz.pro, which disclosed the project to TASS.

The new equipment allows machine guns to be deployed either on vehicle platforms or at firing positions set up directly on the ground. Zavoz.pro said the systems are designed to hold weapons securely, provide a wide aiming range and reduce the physical strain on operators tracking airborne targets.

The lineup includes mounts for the modernized Kalashnikov PKM machine gun, the PKT tank machine gun and the heavy-caliber Utes and Kord machine guns. Mobile fire teams rely on several types of weapons, some of which were not originally designed to be operated from the bed of a vehicle or from a temporary field position. The developers therefore focused on standardized mounting solutions and easier weapon control.

A separate part of the project covers turrets designed for pickup trucks and light-duty trucks. The mounts secure the weapon while allowing the operator to track aerial targets across a broad sector. Some versions provide full horizontal rotation combined with a wide vertical aiming range.

Foldable mobile tripods have also been developed for firing positions on the ground. They can be deployed on soil, concrete surfaces or previously prepared positions and are designed for transportation and rapid setup.

Their aiming range allows a gun crew to cover a large section of airspace and track drones approaching at different altitudes and from different directions.
