The Russian army continues its special military operation in Ukraine. As of August 28, the situation on the fronts is as follows:

Kostiantynivka Direction

Russian forces have taken control of about half of Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and advanced to approximately 1.5 kilometers from the outskirts of Druzhkivka. Advances have also been reported in Chervone.

Dobropillia Direction

Russian forces are assaulting Dobropillia from several directions while also advancing toward Bilozerske and expanding their zone of control near Kucheriv Yar. Fighting is underway for Zolotyi Kolodiaz, Novomykolaivka and Raiske.

Siversk Direction

Forward Russian units have approached Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. According to the General Staff, Russian forces have broken through the first line of defense and are engaged in fighting near the airfield.

Dnipro Direction

Shevchenkivske has been liberated. Russian forces are expanding their bridgehead. Ukrainian forces are facing a difficult situation in the areas of Herasymivka, Bratske and Andriivka.

Kupiansk Direction

An attempt by Ukrainian forces to maneuver west of Dvorichna has been repelled. Dvorichna and Zakhidne remain under Russian control.
