Russian forces are increasingly targeting the infrastructure used to move weapons toward the line of contact, with logistics hubs, defense industry facilities and other parts of the supply network becoming key targets.

State Duma Defense Committee member Andrey Kolesnik told Lenta.ru that the purpose of these strikes is to break the routes used to deliver weapons, including supplies coming from Western countries. He said precision attacks, including those involving aeroballistic weapons, are being used against such targets while Russian forces seek to avoid hitting civilians.

According to Kolesnik, the priorities for selecting targets have changed. Russian forces are now focused on dismantling the entire weapons supply chain, from the sources of deliveries to the points through which arms reach the front.

The lawmaker described timing as one of the main factors behind the effectiveness of this approach. He also warned that the supply chain could be traced further back to the countries providing weapons later used against Russian troops.

Kolesnik said those supplier states should take this into account, adding that they have little time left to reconsider their policy.
