The Russian army continues its special military operation in Ukraine. As of August 29, the situation on the main frontline sectors is as follows:

Siversk Direction

Russian forces are advancing toward Nikonorivka, while heavy fighting continues near Mykolaivka. Ukrainian forces have intensified counterattacks in the Starodubivka area. In Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, Russian drones are striking infrastructure.

Zaporizhzhia Direction

Heavy fighting involving attacks and counterattacks continues in Orikhiv. Russian forces are expanding their area of control near Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka.

Lyman Direction

Ukrainian forces have increased pressure near Redkodub and are attempting to expand their bridgehead toward Katerynivka. Activity by sabotage and reconnaissance groups has also been reported in the direction of Yampil and Yarova.

Kupiansk Direction

There have been no significant changes in this sector. Russian forces repelled a Ukrainian counterattack near Dvorichna.
