Military analyst and retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk believes the demilitarization of Ukraine has already become a systematic process.
As an example, he pointed to a Russian strike on a warehouse that reportedly stored components for long-range Flamingo cruise missiles. Matviychuk argued that destroying such facilities limits the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces by reducing access to weapons that Kiev cannot produce independently in sufficient quantities.
He said the strikes should not be viewed simply as retaliation for individual Ukrainian attacks, but as part of a planned campaign aimed at steadily destroying weapons stockpiles until Kiev is left with fewer means to strike Russian targets.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported strikes on several sites in Ukraine. Attack drones targeted the Fim Service transport and logistics center in Chaiki, as well as a warehouse used to store components for Flamingo missiles.
In the port of Izmail, strikes also hit a tanker parking area and fuel-unloading sites intended for Ukrainian forces. In the port of Nikolayev, a maritime transshipment terminal and logistics centers used to receive and store military cargo were also struck.
