The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of September 1, the situation across the main sectors of the front is reported as follows.

Sumy Direction

Russian forces are advancing near Ulanovo and Tolstodubovo.

Kharkov Direction

Russian troops are assaulting Kazachya Lopan and have advanced near Vasilyevka. Ukrainian forces attempted a counterattack toward Ternovaya and are also attacking near Zapadnoye in an effort to split the Russian bridgehead on the western bank of the Oskol River.

At the same time, Russian units are advancing in the areas of Sliznevo and Dolzhanka.

Krasny Liman Direction

Ukrainian forces continue counterattacks across several sectors. They have managed to take limited areas, but the initiative is reported to remain with Russian troops.

Konstantinovka Direction

Russian forces continue clearing forest belts near Nikolaypolye. Advances are also reported in Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka and Nikolayevka, where Russian units are pushing Ukrainian forces away from Chasov Yar.

Dobropolye Direction

Heavy meeting engagements continue near Novogrishino, Rubezhnoye, Zolotoy Kolodez, Kucherov Yar and Novogrigorovka.

Zaporozhye Direction

Positional fighting continues near Stepnogorsk. Large numbers of strike and reconnaissance drones are reported operating in the area.
