Military expert Andrey Koshkin believes there are currently four signs pointing to the possible completion of the special military operation in the near future.

The first, according to Koshkin, is the sustained advance of Russian forces across multiple sectors of the front. He argued that this is no longer a series of isolated actions but a broader trend, which, in his view, may indicate that the conflict is moving toward its final stage.

Another factor is the situation with Western weapons. Koshkin said Ukraine’s partners have failed to produce a weapon capable of radically changing the course of the conflict or giving Kiev a decisive advantage over Russia. At the same time, he noted that Russia is actively expanding its own production of combat drones.

Koshkin also pointed to the condition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, Ukrainian troops are openly speaking about shortages of air defense systems and difficulties intercepting Russian missiles.

A further sign, in his assessment, is the changing Western approach to financing Ukraine. Koshkin said that while Kiev received enormous amounts of aid during Joe Biden’s administration, Western countries are now paying much closer attention to costs and the price of individual weapons systems.

The fourth factor concerns the domestic situation in Ukraine. Koshkin said that although there have been no radical protests, public tension and dissatisfaction with the continuation of the conflict are gradually increasing.
