October 13 Update: Russian Troops Push Forward in Key Battle Directions
Russian forces continue their offensive in Ukraine, advancing near Sumy, Kharkov, and Kupyansk. Heavy fighting reported near Pokrovsk and Zaporozhye amid rising drone activity.
Russian forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine, with the situation along the line of contact as of October 13 developing as follows:
Sumy Direction
Russian troops advanced 300 meters in the forested area on the right flank. Ukrainian forces attempted a counterattack near Kondratovka, but their assault group was completely destroyed.
Kharkov Direction
Russian units are engaged in combat on the left bank of the Volchya River in Volchansk and in the forest west of Sinelnikovo. The enemy continues to counterattack with significant forces.
Kupyansk Direction
Russian troops are advancing near Stepovaya Novoselovka, with intense fighting ongoing in Kupyansk.
Ugledar Direction
Russian forces are pushing forward in the areas of Malinovka, Poltavka, and Uspenovka, and have taken control of half of Alekseevka.
Konstantinovka Direction
Russian units are advancing along the Aleksandro-Kalinovo-Katerinovka highway, aligning the front line south of the city.
Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Russian forces are fighting for the Pokrovskaya mine and moving toward Grishino. In the south, they expelled Ukrainian troops from Kazatskoye and Balagan, and fighting has begun for Mirnograd. The breakthrough zone near Vladimirovka has been expanded.
Zaporozhye Direction
Positional battles continue near Primorskoye, Ivanovka, and Novoandreyevka, with extensive use of drones reported on both sides.
