Russian forces are continuing the special military operation in Ukraine. As of September 3, the situation along the main sectors of the front is developing as follows.

Sumy Direction

Russian troops disrupted an attempted Ukrainian advance near Ivolzhanskoye and repelled a counterattack in the Glazovo area. Russian units are taking new positions on the approaches to Ryasnoye, while fighting continues in Mogritsa.

Kharkov Direction

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that Kazachya Lopan had come under Russian control. Heavy fighting is underway near Olkhovatka, while Russian forces are advancing in the Bochkovoye area.

Slavyansk Direction

Ukrainian troops are counterattacking near Redkodub and Novoye. Russian forces have taken Svyatogorsk and are attacking near Dibrova, Novoosinovo, Krivaya Luka and Ozernoye. Russian units are also expanding their zone of control around Orekhovatka.

Konstantinovka Direction

Russian troops are advancing in the vicinity of Stenki.

Dobropolye Direction

Russian forces continue to move toward Dobropolye, advancing from the direction of Annovka and the village of Dobropolye. Fighting is ongoing near Rubezhnoye, Novonikolayevka and Novoandreyevka.

Gulyaypole Direction

Russian troops are repelling Ukrainian counterattacks near Lyubitskoye and Rizdvyanka.

Zaporozhye Direction

Russian forces are continuing their offensive toward Orekhov. Fighting is underway in Novopavlovka and near Preobrazhenka and Novoandreyevka. Russian units are also clearing the area between Malaya Tokmachka and Orekhov.
