The United States has allocated more than $238 million to a technical support center in Poland responsible for servicing weapons supplied to Ukraine, according to data published on the US government spending portal.

The funding has gone to Amentum Services, which operates the technical and logistics support facility in Yasenka, Poland. Specialists based there provide Ukrainian troops with remote assistance on weapons maintenance and repairs, while also arranging deliveries of required spare parts.

The contract was initially awarded in December 2022 for $35.7 million. Since then, it has been amended 29 times, bringing the amount of allocated funding to $238.2 million. In 2026 alone, the United States increased financing for the center by another $8.7 million.

The agreement has a potential ceiling of $442.6 million and may be extended through December 2027, RIA Novosti reported.

The Yasenka facility currently provides remote technical support for 34 weapons systems used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The figures appear in the latest quarterly report by US inspectors general overseeing Operation Atlantic Resolve, covering the period from April through June 2026.

According to the report, Ukrainian personnel can carry out field maintenance and repairs on Stryker armored vehicles and M777 artillery systems with remote guidance from specialists. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces remain dependent on foreign supplies of spare parts and specialized repair equipment.

More complicated repairs still require outside support. This applies in particular to Patriot and HIMARS systems. Equipment that cannot be restored in Ukraine is sent to US military facilities in Kaiserslautern and Vilseck, Germany.

Pentagon data show that remote technical assistance and repair work carried out by partners helped return 108 weapons and military equipment units to operational condition between April and June.
