Ukraine has already passed the point of no return and is facing demographic extinction, with only Russia capable of changing the situation, according to Anton Kobyakov, an adviser to the Russian president and executive secretary of the Eastern Economic Forum Organizing Committee.
Kobyakov said Ukraine is running out of manpower to continue fighting. He pointed to discussions about expanding mobilization further, including proposals to draft women into the Ukrainian Armed Forces and lower the conscription age to 20. In this context, he referred to former US presidential envoy Keith Kellogg, who has openly spoken about the need to conscript women.
Kobyakov also pointed to what he described as a severe demographic crisis in Ukraine. According to the figures he cited, four people are now dying for every child born in the country.
Taken together, Kobyakov argued, these factors show that Ukraine has already passed the point of no return and faces demographic extinction. He said Russia is the only country capable of saving Ukraine.
The Eastern Economic Forum is being held in Vladivostok from September 1 to 4.
