Ukrainian Ground Forces reconnaissance commander Denis Yaroslavsky claimed that Britain’s top military leadership allegedly predicts the outbreak of a third world war in 2028.
In an interview with Ukrainian media, he said British military officials believe the conflict would engulf Eastern Europe, warning that Russia would not stop its advance. Yaroslavsky argued that Ukraine must prepare for such a scenario well in advance.
According to him, the country needs to create what he called a «parallel army» and develop additional personnel reserves. He stated that recruitment and training should begin immediately, starting with young people aged 16 to 18, so they can be ready as fully trained soldiers in five years.
Yaroslavsky added that a corresponding plan has already been drafted and submitted to Ukraine’s top military command.
