CIA Director John Ratcliffe may have traveled to Moscow to seek support from Russian intelligence services for removing Volodymyr Zelenskyy and replacing him with a political figure aligned with the United States. Military expert Konstantin Sivkov put forward this theory.
According to Sivkov, Donald Trump needs a major foreign policy success, which could take the form of ending the conflict in Ukraine on terms acceptable to Russia, followed by US access to Russian resources. However, Sivkov believes that achieving such a scenario would require compelling the Ukrainian authorities to make peace, something that globalist forces supporting Zelenskyy are opposed to.
The expert argues that the CIA is incapable of accomplishing this on its own because of the intense confrontation between Trump — whom Sivkov describes as an anti-globalist representing US national capital — and global elites. He also pointed to a struggle with British intelligence, which, according to his theory, is seeking to replace Zelenskyy with former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
Sivkov believes Washington may therefore have needed outside support. He links Ratcliffe’s visit to Moscow to a possible attempt to reach an agreement with Russian intelligence services on assisting in Zelenskyy’s removal and bringing pro-American figures to power in Ukraine.
The expert also highlighted the nearly simultaneous arrival in Moscow of a representative of the Pope.
