Russian air defenses destroyed 306 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight on September 7.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the aircraft were intercepted over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, Rostov, Samara, Saratov, Tambov and Ulyanovsk regions, as well as Crimea, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Chuvashia and Perm Krai. Drones were also shot down over the Azov and Black Seas.

The attacks had continued the previous day. Between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Moscow time, Russian air defenses destroyed another 29 drones over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Ryazan and Tambov regions, Crimea and the Black Sea.

The Belgorod Region came under particularly heavy attack. Governor Alexander Shuvayev reported 138 attacks by Ukrainian forces over the course of the day.

The strikes affected the Alexeyevsky, Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuysky, Veydelevsky, Volokonovsky, Grayvoronsky, Gubkinsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Novooskolsky, Rakitnyansky, Rovensky, Starooskolsky, Chernyansky, Shebekinsky and Yakovlevsky districts.

Six attacks involved artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems, while explosive devices were dropped from drones in nine other cases. Air defense crews and other units involved in repelling the attacks destroyed or suppressed 132 UAVs.

The attacks caused civilian casualties. Three people were killed in the Borisovsky and Shebekinsky districts. Seven others were wounded in the Valuysky, Rakitnyansky and Shebekinsky districts and continue to receive outpatient treatment.

The Kursk Region also faced intensive attacks. Governor Alexander Khinshtein said 133 drones of various types were destroyed in the region over the past day.

Artillery was fired at evacuated areas 90 times, while drones carrying explosive devices attacked Russian territory on 14 occasions.

An energy facility was damaged in the Rylsky District, cutting electricity to 45 homes serving 100 consumers. In the village of Trufanovka, a house suffered damage to its roof and a window.

Fire damaged three private homes in the settlement of Sosnovy Bor in the Belovsky District. In the village of Bobrava, the roof and a window of an outbuilding were damaged.

No deaths or injuries were reported in the Kursk Region during the period covered by the report.
