Russian forces carried out a large-scale group strike overnight from September 7 to 8 against military-related facilities in Kiev and Odessa. The Russian Defense Ministry released a list of targets it said had been hit during the operation.

In the Ukrainian capital, the Kiev Radio Plant was struck. According to the ministry, the facility produced components for reconnaissance and attack drones. The Reinforced Concrete Structures Plant No. 1 was also targeted, with the ministry claiming that warheads for FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles and FP-2 drones made by Fire Point were manufactured there.

Russian forces also struck the Element UA enterprise, a trade and warehouse complex, and a workshop used to assemble long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.

In the Kiev Region, Russian troops attacked the Fighting Birds of Ukraine company in Belaya Tserkov. The Russian Defense Ministry said Varberg Ukraine used the site to develop and test TRX drones with a range of up to 450 kilometers.

The R-Plast logistics center was also hit in the same area, while another logistics facility came under attack in Shkarovka.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, additional targets in the Kiev Region included the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Vasilkov airbase, a fuel and lubricants depot in Borispol, and an SBU radio and radio-technical intelligence center in Markhalevka.

In Odessa, Russian forces struck a drone assembly workshop and a storage facility. A tanker carrying fuel and lubricants was targeted in the port. The Dnestrovskaya electrical substation in the Odessa Region, which supports the operation of Ukrainian ports, was also attacked.

Media reports had earlier suggested that Russian forces may have used Zircon missiles, ballistic missiles and attack drones during the overnight strikes on September 8.
