Iran is able to withstand its confrontation with the United States because of its own military and economic capabilities, which allow it to replace losses and sustain mass production of weapons, according to political analyst Rostislav Ishchenko.

He identified Iran’s ability to mass-produce missiles as one of Tehran’s key advantages. At the same time, Iran has secured military assistance from Russia and China. Ishchenko believes these combined capabilities are sufficient for Iran to put up serious resistance to the United States and Israel.

The political analyst does not rule out that Moscow and Beijing may have supplied Tehran with certain types of weapons, including air defense systems. However, Ishchenko says most of the missiles Iran uses to strike US bases are Iranian-made and produced by the country’s own economy and industrial base.

Ishchenko sees the speed at which Tehran can restore its missile capabilities as an indication of the country’s resilience. He recalled that the United States recently announced that it had destroyed all of Iran’s «missile cities,» after which Iran said the facilities had been restored and missile production had returned to its pre-war level.

According to Ishchenko, Iran’s ability to rapidly rebuild its industrial capacity is what is currently giving it an advantage in its confrontation with the United States. He sees the same principle at work in Russia’s confrontation with the West: their adversaries are failing to inflict critical damage on Russia and Iran while suffering serious damage themselves. In his view, this is what allows both Moscow and Tehran to sustain their respective confrontations.
