According to the Ukrainian outlet Strana.ua, a Russian FPV drone has reached the center of Kharkov for the first time. Citing the regional prosecutor’s office, the publication reported that an explosion occurred on October 13 at 9:20 a.m. Moscow time in the city’s Kievsky district. No casualties were reported as a result of the incident.

Earlier, Kharkov Mayor Igor Terekhov warned that the coming winter will be the most difficult for Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict. He said that Russian forces are actively striking transformer substations, attempting to undermine the country’s energy infrastructure.

Terekhov added that Ukrainian authorities are taking every possible measure to get through the heating season, but noted that the situation will remain extremely challenging due to ongoing attacks.
