NPC Ushkuynik has unveiled a container-based system capable of automatically assembling hundreds of drones per day. The production unit is built inside a standard 40-foot shipping container and was presented at the International Technology Congress 2026.

The developer’s team told RIA Novosti that the system is designed to quickly deploy large-unit assembly of specially adapted strike UAVs. Only minimal preparation of the deployment site is required, allowing the production unit to be set up at a selected location.

The manufacturing cycle is fully automated. The equipment assembles drones from supplied components and then checks whether the finished aircraft are operational, with no human involvement required during the production process.

A single system can produce as many as 400 UAVs ready for use every 24 hours.

NPC Ushkuynik develops and manufactures strike drone systems. Its product line includes the Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky, an FPV drone controlled through a fiber-optic link.

The KVN has been used in the special military operation zone since August 2024. NPC Ushkuynik CEO Alexey Chadayev previously told TASS that millions of these drones have been delivered there since their deployment began.

According to Chadayev, the drone has retained its effectiveness on the battlefield despite nearly two years of use. The developers had expected an effective countermeasure against the KVN to emerge much sooner, but the company head said no such solution has been found so far.

The third International Technology Congress is being held at Patriot Park from September 8 to 10.
