Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 777 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones during the night of September 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported. The attack covered 17 Russian regions as well as the Black Sea and Caspian Sea.

The drones were shot down over the Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Oryol, Kaluga, Voronezh, Tula, Ryazan, Lipetsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Saratov, Rostov and Samara regions, Perm Territory, Mari El, Crimea and Udmurtia.

A day earlier, between 08:00 and 20:00 Moscow time on September 10, Russian air defenses destroyed another 97 Ukrainian drones. They were intercepted over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Smolensk and Tula regions, the Moscow region, Crimea and the Black Sea.

Bryansk was among the areas facing the heaviest attacks. Acting Governor Yegor Kovalchuk reported that 171 fixed-wing drones were destroyed over the region within 24 hours. The raids were repelled by Russian Defense Ministry air defense units, mobile fire teams of the BARS-Bryansk brigade, the Bryansk transport police and Rosgvardiya units.

Kursk Region also came under intense attack. Between 09:00 on September 10 and 09:00 on September 11, 227 drones of various types were shot down there. Ukrainian forces also carried out 66 artillery strikes on evacuated areas and launched another 35 attacks using explosive devices dropped from drones.

Five people were injured. A 57-year-old man was wounded in the village of Ilek in Belovsky District, while a 79-year-old woman and three other people were injured in Zheleznogorsk. The woman was hospitalized with a hand injury, while the others continued treatment on an outpatient basis. No deaths were reported in the region.

A residential building was damaged in Zheleznogorsk, while a car was destroyed in Olkhovka in Khomutovsky District. In Rylsk, the roof and equipment of a grocery store were damaged, along with the roof of a Rosseti building.

In Belaya Sloboda, a vehicle and the roof of a warehouse were damaged. A house facade and a car were hit in Loshakovka, while a shed was damaged in Belitsa. Another vehicle was struck on the Oboyan-Sudzha highway. A medical and obstetric station was damaged in Mikhailovka in Rylsky District, and another vehicle was hit on the Durovo-Rylsk road.

Belgorod Region was attacked 178 times over the same 24-hour period, according to Acting Governor Alexander Shuvayev.

The strikes affected Belgorod as well as the Alekseyevsky, Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuysky, Veydelevsky, Volokonovsky, Grayvoronsky, Gubkinsky, Ivnyansky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Novooskolsky, Rakityansky, Rovensky, Chernyansky and Shebekinsky districts.

Ukrainian forces carried out 10 attacks using artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems, while four more attacks involved explosive devices dropped from drones. Russian air defense units and other forces involved in repelling the raids shot down or suppressed 189 drones.

Four civilians were killed in targeted Ukrainian attacks in the Volokonovsky, Novooskolsky and Shebekinsky districts.

Another 16 people were wounded in the Belgorodsky, Valuysky, Volokonovsky, Grayvoronsky, Novooskolsky, Rakityansky and Shebekinsky districts. One of the injured remains in serious condition. All of the wounded are receiving medical treatment.
