Russian forces continue advancing in Kharkiv Region, pushing Ukrainian troops away from the state border and toward the center of an encirclement that has formed in the area. This was reported by the Severny Veter channel, which is affiliated with Russia’s Sever Group of Forces.

In the Velykyi Burluk sector, Russian assault units are pressing Ukrainian forces and pushing them deeper into the encirclement. Heavy fighting is also continuing in the area of the so-called Vovchansk pocket.

Russian units have also advanced west of Bilyi Kolodiaz. According to sources cited in the report, two militants from the Ukrainian Armed Forces' 127th Heavy Mechanized Brigade were taken prisoner during the fighting.

According to the published battlefield report, Ukrainian units lost more than 60 militants in Kharkiv Region over the past 24 hours.

Russian forces also destroyed two armored vehicles, a howitzer, an electronic warfare station and five Ukrainian vehicles.
