Russian forces established control over the settlement of Vesele in the Donetsk People’s Republic during offensive operations, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported.

The capture of Vesele continued the advance of Russian troops across several sectors. A day earlier, on September 11, the Defense Ministry said Russian forces had taken control of Novohrishyne in the DPR and Zorivka in Zaporizhzhia Region.

Russian forces have also advanced in Kharkiv Region. The Russian Defense Ministry previously reported that units of the Sever Group of Forces had taken control of Zarubynka and liberated Hoptivka from Ukrainian militants.
