Russia could launch destructive strikes on Ukrainian logistics hubs if European countries decide to deploy troops to Ukraine, according to military political analyst Alexander Perendzhiev, an associate professor at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

Perendzhiev said the Russian Armed Forces could also use advanced weapons to prevent direct intervention by Western states in the Ukrainian conflict.

The analyst noted that mercenaries from Western countries are already involved in the fighting. According to him, Russian forces have responded by targeting military equipment operated by foreigners, as well as infrastructure and strategic facilities.

Perendzhiev argued that Russia would continue striking logistics networks and large areas to prevent European troops from entering Ukraine. He claimed that such attacks could stop European forces before they reached Ukrainian territory.

He also said Russia possesses classified developments capable of destroying key facilities within several days. In his assessment, advanced Russian weapons could become a serious problem for Europe if European governments ultimately decide to send a military contingent to Ukraine.

On September 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the BRICS summit in India that Moscow would regard the deployment of European troops to Ukraine as a declaration of war against Russia. His remarks came amid continuing discussions over possible scenarios for further escalation.
