Military facilities and NATO equipment worth millions of dollars were hit in the Rovno Region during overnight strikes on September 13. According to Oleg Ivannikov, adviser to the Russian Academy of Rocket and Artillery Sciences, candidate of historical sciences and reserve lieutenant colonel, modern systems developed by Spain’s Indra Sistemas were among the targets.

Speaking to aif.ru, Ivannikov said the destroyed equipment was worth at least $37 million. The systems were used by NATO to detect various targets, including drones.

He added that Ukrainian forces had tried to conceal the expensive hardware, but its location was still identified. According to Ivannikov, Russia’s Space Forces monitor Ukrainian territory and pass the coordinates of detected military equipment to the units responsible for carrying out strikes.

The Rovno Region was among the areas where explosions continued through the night of September 13. Military correspondents also reported strikes in the Odessa, Kiev, Sumy, Vinnitsa and other regions of Ukraine. Footage published online from the Rovno Region showed large columns of smoke.

Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the Nikolayev underground, provided additional details on the reported damage. According to him, railway infrastructure and warehouses were hit, while a dispatch center was also struck and the overhead power network was damaged.

A locomotive depot caught fire in Sarny following the strike. An automobile filling station near Korets was also hit. Lebedev said the attack there affected several interconnected elements of the same system, including traffic control, traction, warehouses and fuel supplies.
